It’s been a while since I last update you about this project, it’s been even longer since we first started. This is where we got so far and it’s probably going to be a while before we can reach any new goals. The work is never finished, there’s always more to do, but we have to be proud with what we have accomplished so far. This family has a roof now, real walls, windows instead of holes, so even if the job isn’t done, and for us, this is hardly the perfect home I can assure you that Julia’s family is very grateful for all your help.

It’s hard to be content when we feel there’s still so much left to improve, but we just have to find other ways to make a difference and be glad with the support we gain along the way.

"There are no victories, there are only battles, and the best you can hope for is to find some place where you can make your stand. If you are lucky, you will find someone to stand with you.”*

Já há algum tempo que não publicava noticias sobre este projecto. Isto foi o que conseguimos fazer até agora, e durante algum tempo vai ser difícil conseguir atingir novos objectivos. O trabalho nunca está finalizado, há sempre mais a fazer, mas temos de estar orgulhosos do que conseguimos fazer até agora. Agora esta família tem um tecto, paredes a sério, janelas, em vez de buracos, assim, mesmo que a construção não esteja completa, e que para nós, esteja longe de ser a casa ideal, garanto-vos que a família da Júlia está muito grata por toda a ajuda recebida.

É dificil contentarmo-nos quando sentimos que há ainda tanto mais a melhorar, mas temos de continuar a encontrar maneiras de fazer a diferença e ficar agradecidos pelo apoio que recebemos.

“Não há vitórias, apenas batalhas, e o melhor que podes ambicionar é encontrar um lugar onde possas fazer a diferença. Se tiveres sorte suficiente encontrarás alguém que ficará a teu lado.”*
